Concussion Symptoms
During a concussion, the brain is injured by either rapid acceleration, deceleration or rotation of the head causing the brain to forcefully hit the inside of the skull. Concussion can occur without a loss of consciousness and without striking the head.
Symptoms Can Include:
- Headaches
- Dizziness
- Double Vision
- Blurred Vision
- Drowsiness
- Confusion
- Memory Problems
- Loss of Consciousness after Injury
- Nausea of Vomiting
- Slurred Speech
- Sensitivity to light or noise
- Balance Issues
- Lasting Confusion
- Loss of Coordination
- Unequal Pupil Size
- Seizures
- Difficulty Concentrating
- Irritability
- Abnormal Eye Movement
